When users conduct transactions in multi-currency isolated margin mode, the overall adjusted equity in their accounts should be greater than or equal to the hold equity of the corresponding pending orders, and the available balance of this currency should be greater than or equal to the amount of the same currency required by the order. To further enhance your trading experience and improve the flexibility of capital and risk management, OKX will launch a feature for you to set your chosen cryptocurrencies as collateral in multi-currency margin mode. This feature allows you to select cryptocurrencies for cross-margin risk sharing in your account, providing greater flexibility in optimizing your trading strategies.

To ensure platform safety and improve precision in risk measurement and trading rules implementation, OKX will adjust the discount rates for all traders in multi-currency margin mode and portfolio margin mode. The adjustment will take place from 8:00 am UTC on August 22, 2024 to 8:00 am UTC on September 22, 2024. After the adjustment, the discount tiers will be based on crypto amounts, with each crypto assigned to its own tiers.

This sub-acccount will be in futures mode, offering you an isolated margin trading experience similar to that in multi-currency margin mode and portfolio margin mode.
