What is Simple Earn?

Simple Earn allows you to earn passive income on your idle crypto through regulated lending products, with the freedom to access your assets anytime.When you allocate your funds, it stays secured on the exchange and provides liquidity. Your earnings come from the rate that traders pay to use crypto they borrow.

When will I start earning?

Once your order is submitted, it will be matched with the borrowing demand on the market. Once your order is matched to borrowing demand, your subscription will start earning interest.
You'll earn market APY if it matches or exceeds your minimum selected earning APY.For assets matched and used by traders within any given hour, your earnings for the said hour will arrive in the next hour.

How is the APY calculated?

The market APY reflects real-time lending and borrowing activity on the market and varies accordingly.

Why haven't I received my earnings?

Earnings are (generally) available for matched assets only. Please verify whether your assets have been matched. Even if you have subscribed to Simple Earn, (a) if your selected minimum APY is higher than the current market APY, your order will not be matched and therefore won’t generate earnings; or (b) if your selected minimum APY is equal to the current market APY, there is also a chance that your order will not be matched due to an oversupply of eligible lending funds, and the unmatched portion won't generate earnings.

When can I receive my redeemed funds?

Your assets will arrive immediately regardless of the status.

How do I use Simple Earn ?

On the app

  1. Open the OKX app, go to Portfolio and select any currency.

  2. Select " Start Earning " under " Currency In Earn "

  3. Choose the amount of assets you want to allocate.

  4. Select your desired Minimum Earning APY.

  5. Read through the order summary and select the checkbox to agree with the user agreement, and allocate your funds to Simple Earn.

On the web

  1. Log in to your account at okx.com and go to Explore > Earn > Simple Earn

  2. Search for your preferred crypto in the Search field

  3. Select the amount of assets you want to allocate.
    If you have insufficient amount, you can buy or deposit a sufficient token amount before continuing

  4. You can customize your preferred minimum APY in the Min. lending APY field

  5. Read through the order summary and select the checkbox to agree with the user agreement

  6. Allocate your funds to Simple Earn.

Can I redeem my Simple Earn ?

Yes, you can redeem funds at any time and redemption processing is instant.

On the app

  1. Open your OKX app, go to Portfolio, and select " Assets in Earn " or any crypto-currency.

  2. Select Redeem, insert your preferred redemption amount in the Please enter the amount field, and select Redeem.

  3. Read through the redemption summary and select Confirm to complete your redemption request.

On the web

  1. Log in to your account at okx.com and go to Assets > My Assets > Grow

  2. Select your Simple Earn order in the By crypto or By product field

    1. Crypto field: find our Simple Earn order according to crypto type.

    2. Product field: find our Simple Earn order in the " Earn " section.

  3. Select Redeem, insert your preferred redemption amount in the Redemption amount field, and select Redeem

  4. Read through the redemption summary and select Confirm to complete your redemption request.
